Your challenge

Transducer Supply Chain Engineering at the company's Ultrasound develops and supports manufacturing processes for the most innovative medical ultrasound equipment in the industry. We are looking for an engineering contractor with a passion for technology and manufacturing processes to help us improve process yield and solving complex engineering issues.

Your team

The Ultrasound manufacturing team, based in Andover, Massachusetts, consists of 50 engineers, technicians and managers who work together to make the best Ultrasound transducers in the industry. This team interacts with local, national and international teams to support and develop a wide range of ultrasound products.

The fast-paced environment places emphasis on a first time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis and regulatory compliance.

responsibilities:

Your responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the Transducer Manufacturing Engineering team supporting current ongoing production.

  • Responsible for engineering tasks associated with maintaining high process yield, process development, and root cause analysis of failures.

qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or materials science. Candidates with 2 years of technical vocational training and relevant industrial experiences will be considered.

skills: We are looking for

  • A minimum of two years' experience in electronic/medical industries.

  • Proven and demonstrated problem solving skills are required.

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing of electrical failures of assembled electronic parts and root causes for reliability failures is a strong plus.

  • Must have very strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
