Web Developer

job summary:

7+ years of complex application development and implementation experience in a Linux environment

7+ years of SDLC experience

7+ years of MVC web development

5+ years of object oriented Perl experience

5+ years of managing/DBA experience with MySQL or similar database

5+ years of experience with Apache/mod_perl

3+ years building Linux software from source (GNU style build systems)

location: Charlotte, North Carolina

salary: $44.72 - 50.31 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Strong experience building web services over SOAP or REST

  • Experience working with web based API's

  • Experience working with SNMP on network appliances

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Knowledge of change control processes within a large corporate environment

  • Ability to lead small teams of developers

  • Experience with application security (OWASP top 10, SANS top 25, etc.)

  • Solid understand of network protocols

qualifications:

  • Knowledge of 802.1x

  • Experience with Subversion / Jenkins / Udeploy

  • Knowledge of Splunk
