Maintenance Technician

Industry leading manufacturer is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for the night shift. This position will be located in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess experience as a maintenance tech in a manufacturing environment with a focus on troubleshooting PLC's, installing new plant equipment and making equipment modifications. Candidates that a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude are encouraged to apply. This role comes with paid OT and an hourly rate ranging from $20/hr to $25/hr based on experience along with a 6% shift differential. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician

  • Good understanding of PC's and PLC troubleshooting

  • Installing new equipment

  • Able to document changes, equipment modifications and new installations

  • Ability to plan work that requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical theories and principals to effectively accomplish assigned work with minimal interruption to production

  • Practice predictive/preventative approach to electrical and mechanical maintenance issues

  • Knowledge and experience with CMMS programs

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician

  • Candidates must possess mechanical and electrical maintenance experience

  • Experience with 3 phase, 480v power is needed

  • PC and PLC experience is needed

  • Knowledge of 5S and Lean is helpful

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US

  • Candidates must be willing to work a night shift
