Production Test Technician

Randstad is currently recruiting for level 1 & 2 Production Test Technicians to start immediately at Sanmina-SCI in Huntsville, AL. If you are seeking an opportunity within a growing company that you can call home, then this is the position for you. The facility is completely climate controlled- you will not be cold this winter or hot this summer and it is clean! Many positions are even sit down!

The shift we are hiring for is:

4A (Monday-Thursday) 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay for these temporary to permanent positions are currently $11.00-$15.00/hr depending on shift and experience with lucrative referral programs, personal protective equipment and uniforms provided. Overtime is required at times depending on department and shift. Multiple shifts available.


Production Test Technician responsibilities include, but not limited to:

-Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies

-Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams

-Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems

-May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing

-Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

-May assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 AM


The ideal Production Test Technician candidate will have the following skills/qualifications:

-Strong attention to detail

-Must demonstrate ability to read, interpret and work from test reports, schematics and product specification sheets, and to follow and testing and calibration instructions

  • Strong knowledge of of electrical and electronic theories, troubleshooting and assemblies required

-Excellent hand and eye coordination is needed

Entry Level


-Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or Military Technical School or 6 months-2 years work experience in debug of electronic assemblies to the component level

-Ability to regularly stand, walk and/or sit 8-12 hours per day and reach with hands and arms

-Ability to multi-task, learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment

-Certified IPC-A-160 Standard recommended
