Electronic Assembler

Position-Electronic Assembler

Pay-$15-$25/hr based on experience

Location-Yaphank

Hours-730am-4pm

Soldering experience is going to be critical to success

Candidate will be assembling small electronic parts for O2 and dew point sensor machines.

Candidates will have a technical background preferably working with electronics

They will train all candidates and are interested in candidates with a range of experience

For reference, Paul mentioned that talent who come from Rockwell Automation would be a good comparison for the people they are looking for

Work Environment-Sitting at the work bench with different components. The dress code is casual. The environment is busy with some distractions from other departments. The right candidate will have to be okay working on small components with other operations happening around them.

Candidates should be open to being cross trained for interdepartmental efficiency

Responsibilities:

3-5 years of experience with the electronic and mechanical assembly of small electronic devices using SMT.

Demonstrated ability to run board level and system tests with high level of diagnostic capability.

Proficient in the use of Windows based software products.

Experience with programming chips and enabling software functions through proprietary interfaces.

Able to troubleshoot and repair complex circuits.

Able to work in a flexible dynamic environment.

Mil-spec soldering and assembly experience is a plus.

Two year degree or technical school certification a plus.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

Test & Calibration Technician:

  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience in an analytical instrument environment.

  • Able to successfully demonstrate knowledge of analytical or process instrument calibration.

  • Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude.

  • Computer literate with Microsoft- Office products.

Education:

High School

Experience:

Experienced

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in instrument testing or instrument calibration.

Technical associates degree or equivalent technical training certificate preferred.
