Accounts Payable Specialist

job summary:

Randstad Professionals is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Johnson City, TN for a long term contract, expected to last a few months! The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the company day to day Accounting functions in all capacities.

education: Bachelor's degree

responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily operations of the Accounts Payable function

  • Manage vendor communication, requests, and documents

  • Enter vendor invoices into accounting software and properly classify to correct GL accounts

  • Review invoice approvals and manage systems hierarchy to ensure proper oversight

  • Assist in year-end 1099 filings

  • Prepare balance sheet schedules in accordance with month end close

  • Compile and organize support for year-end audit requests

  • Provide overall support for the Accounting function

qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related field (Accounting, Business)

  • 6+ years in Accounts Payable

  • Large ERP system experience
