Jr. Project Manager

Our client, a major music streaming and multimedia app company is looking for a Jr. Project Manager to join their team for their Country music division. We're looking for a smart and experienced Jr. Project Manager to join the team, reporting directly into the Project Manager, dedicated to overseeing audio and video projects for our Country music genre. The position will be based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager on day-to-day management of projects creative development and production processes

  • Facilitate internal communication between multiple internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project kick-offs, check-ins, internal handoffs and final deliveries.

  • Create and maintain project timelines for multiple simultaneous programs, ensuring all deliverables and approvals remain on-schedule.

  • Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders and visibility partners.

  • Schedule calls and/or meetings, ensuring notes and action items are properly documented and distributed.

  • Responsible for overseeing music licensing requests, status updates and expiration deadlines.

  • Provide occasional on-set support, to ensure execution remains in scope and that content aligns with the established creative expectations.

  • Manage the distribution of organization-wide project-related communications

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Skills:

  • 3-5 years of media production and project management experience

  • Strong understanding of video pre-production, production and post-production, including processes, equipment and software.

  • Passion for music storytelling and familiarity with Country music in particular.

  • Ability to work under pressure and with executives and stakeholders both at the corporate and business levels.

  • Excellent administrative skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interfacing with external partners and artists.

  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Agency/ Client Services experience a plus

  • Proven track record of assisting in the management of multiple projects within a large organization

  • Superior oral and written communication skills

  • Music lovers a plus!
