Administrative Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist

A Product Development leader located in Newark, CA is looking to fill a Temp-to-hire position for an administrative assistant immediately! In this role you will cover the front desk and support the sales department by providing administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree OR 2-4+ years' relevant experience.

Job Details:

Administrative Assistant/ Sales Sales Support/Customer Service Support

Temporary-to-hire

Hours are M-F 8AM-5PM or 8:30-5:30

$18-25 per hour

Responsibilities:

Order processing and follow up on behalf of sales team

Coordinating orders with production team and client schedules

Communication with client and sales team by phone and email

Verifying payment and shipping information with an eye for detail and proactively preventing issues

Providing accurate quotes and assisting with price negotiation and sales contracts

Providing updates to clients

Assist sales team with developing sales strategies and goals

Assist with forecasting

Documenting client interaction in CRM system

Problem solving and reporting production and delivery issues as they arise

Additional responsibilities as required

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

Must be able to meet the responsibilities of this role.

Must be proficient with general office equipment and software, including MS Office Suite

Bachelors

Experience:

Experienced

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree OR 2-4+ years' relevant experience

Experience with Microsoft Office

Excellent English communication skills and problem solving abilities

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment

Strong organizational skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
