Permanent position: Industrial Electrical Technician with extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems including large equipment and continuous line manufacturing processes is needed for a leading manufacturing company in Peachtree City, GA. Candidates must have ability to wire, maintain, test, and troubleshoot PLC's and install electronic equipment using test equipment, hand tools, power tools. etc. Must have hands on knowledge of wiring connections for 480V, 3 phase industrial transformers, circuit breakers and other components. Must have ability to work most weekends and holidays as needed for overtime pay. Great earning potential, including annual incentives. Responsibilities for the Electrical Technician
Assembles, Installs and Maintains industrial electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and fixtures for continuous line manufacturing.
Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and electronics equipment including 3 phase, 480V.
8 hour shifts weekdays, with additional shifts on most weekends and holidays as directed by supervisors.
Requirements for the Electrical Technician
Four-year degree/technical training with 2 years of electrical experience, OR 5 years of progressively responsible electrical experience with no degree.
3-phase, 480V, and industrial troubleshooting experience.
Competent with programming of VFD's.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC's.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
