Test Technician

A reputable company specializing in pumping solutions, services for rotating equipment, and separation, mixing and application technology is seeking long term candidates to thrive and grow with the company. We are currently seeking for Test Technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing pump test tasks in accordance with SPUSA standard procedure work processes as well as job specific requirements

  • Sets-up and removes most varieties of pumps with minimum assistance

  • Reviews work orders to determine standard procedures or job specific procedure

  • Assists journey-level testers in test set ups and removing pumps from test beds

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:

  • Operates forklifts and overhead cranes as required

  • Operates shop equipment, which may include hand and power tools

  • Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards

  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide safety program which

includes following all safety policies and procedures

  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS

  • Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental

policies and procedures

  • Performs other duties as necessary

Education:

High School

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

  • Can stand for 80-10 hours periods

  • Ok with wearing overalls and steel toe boots

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing assembly experience

  • Minimum of 6 months overhead crane and forklift experience

  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints

  • Must have minimum requirement of personal tools and roll-away tool box

PAY $14.00 - $17.00 per/hr

  • Full time 40/hrs./week

  • Paid holidays

  • Position requires availability to work overtime hours
