Staff Accountant

job summary:

Client in Cary is looking for a Staff Accountant on a Temp to Perm basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare JE's reflecting proper accounting treatment of transactions for the period.

  • Apply sound Accounting principles and judgment in recording of entries and critical review of entries within the system.

  • Assist in month-end close process for reporting UK packets in accordance with group policy and within group deadlines.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly and year-end Financial Statements and supporting schedule in accordance with Group Policies and department deadlines.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure balance sheet stated in accordance with Group policies, anomalous transactions and trends are identified and communicated to Management.

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year degree with major in Accounting/Business/Finance or equivalent business experience.

  • Experience using ERP system, SAP a plus
