Staff Accountant

job summary:

As a member of the accounting team participate in department objectives by preparing JEs, reconciling balance sheet accounts, assist/prepare financial statements, assist/prepare group reporting package, administer T&E using Concur, and review and analyze anomalous transactions and trends within financial statements.

  • Prepare JE's reflecting proper accounting treatment of transactions for the period.

  • Apply sound Accounting principles and judgment in recording of entries and critical review of entries within the system.

  • Assist in month-end close process for reporting UK packets in accordance with group policy and within group deadlines.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly and year-end Financial Statements and supporting schedule in accordance with Group Policies and department deadlines.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure balance sheet stated in accordance with Group policies, anomalous transactions and trends are identified and communicated to Management.
