Change & Release Manager

The Change and Release Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling and managing production and test releases, and ensuring that deliverables and functionality are. In addition, the Change and Release Manager will work closely with scrum teams to deploy releases into test and production environments and escalating decisions and issues as needed. The Change and Release Manager will establish and document change and release practices -policy, procedures, standards, reporting, and other documents as required, for delivery of solutions and services that follow industry standard methodologies and best practices

responsibilities:

  1. SME for Change and Release management

  2. Continuous improvement of overall Change Management process and communications.

  3. Ensure compliance to a standardized deployment process that delivers major releases, minor enhancements and patches

  4. Host change/release review calls with engineers and stakeholders, as needed

  5. Manage and maintain schedules for Change and Release

qualifications:

  1. Produce and maintain documentation of standards and processes

  2. Refine and communicate release and change standards, strategy, processes and metrics.

  3. Mentor/train teams about Change Management and Release Management process

  4. Analyse change records to determine any trends or apparent problems that occur and suggest improvements

  5. Create KPIs and metrics around Change and Release Management to drive continuous service improvement

  6. Generate regularly scheduled reporting

skills: - 1. 4+ years of experience in IT Change Management, Release Management,

  1. Experience with CI/CD is nice to have and experience in Agile release processes is essential

  2. Deep understanding of SDLC

  3. Experience with Large Scale, Enterprise, Global environments

  4. Experience with current Change Management methodologies

  5. Experience with ServiceNow

  6. Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills (Required)

  7. Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)

  8. Strong ability to accurately document and record plans, and meeting follow up (Required)
