Human Resources Generalist

This position provides high-level HR support and may organize and direct work flow or projects within the HR Department.

The ideal candidate has a strong HR Generalist background with expertise in at least one of the HR disciplines (recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, learning/development, safety/risk management, or staffing/organizational development).

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the below essential duties satisfactorily.


? Assists in the formulation of corporate people-related initiatives, this may include leading or chairing committees, projects, and/or initiatives.

? Serves as a backup for HR Director as well as provide day-to-day technical leadership to other HR staff, this may include organizing and directing work flow and/or special projects.

? Investigates and help to resolve complex employee relations issues.

? Analyzes people trends and metrics within the company and provide comprehensive data which benchmarks to both industry and national standards.

? Develops and administers various people-related plans and procedures for all company personnel ? this may include developing or assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures or employee handbook revisions.

? Serves as a company role model and promote and foster positive employee relations at all times.

? Assists with special projects as required.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


--Ensures compliance with all government regulations and reporting requirements.

--Develops and maintain affirmative action program and ensure timely EEO-1 reporting.

--Provides general oversight and maintenance of the company's HRIS to ensure accuracy with official employment records and data such as DOB, DOH, compensation, benefits, tax status, attendance, performance reviews/evaluations, and termination date/reason.

--Provides general oversight and maintenance of the company's training database records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees.






? Bachelor?s in Human Resources, Business Administration, OR an Associate?s degree plus five years of HR Generalist experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

? Proven experience managing multiple corporate human resource projects and programs in several diverse disciplines.

? Strong people and communication skills a must.

? Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, government compliance, employment practices, and policies and procedures.

? Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
