Our client is seeking a CCIE certified (preferred, not required), Sr. Network Engineer. The emphasis in this role R&S (routing and switching) network design as well as wireless (WIFI) LAN.

qualifications:

Essential Functions:

" Evaluating coverage problems and capacity using WIFI network planning tools

" Review WIFI Analytics and make recommendations for improvement

" Conduct WIFI testing and review test results with customer and BU

" Test plan requirements development Retest corrected test cases.

" Work with TAC/BU to file new defects to perform WIFI Indoor surveys

" Evaluate network design, interference analysis and, report generation

" Automate network and WIFI deployments using Python and other automation tools Other Functions:

" Perform Parameter Audits and act as Technical Lead for WIFI projects

" Analyzes, configures and characterizes Wireless solution components, including Cisco Access Points, Antennas, Wireless LAN Controller, Wireless Control System and Mobility Solution Engine

" Helps create institutional knowledge by creating/reviewing solution technical documentation.

" Write up test results and be able to interact with BU on any found defects.

" Extensive understanding of WIFI principles and able to interact with customer on validation of use cases.

" Evaluate coverage problems and capacity planning using Radio network planning tools

skills: Required Education/Experience and Competencies:

" Minimum or 10 years' experience as an Enterprise level routing & switching SME

" Thorough understanding of Wireless Networks, WIFI, WLAN planning, design, survey, installation, configuration, management, and reporting

" BSEE, BSCS or similar, with emphasis in networking is desired

" Certifications: CCIE (with WIFI experience) is PREFERRED

" Minimum of 5 years' experience with Cisco Routing & Switching

" WLAN Configuration and test set up experience

" Superior English language written and verbal communication skills
