This is a hands on role for lease accounting expert with OLFM experience who will help address day to day issues, work with IT on solutions, work with the business stakeholders to define the right process and support, as well as will work on driving proactive corrective actions for identified root-causes.

There will be high levels of visibility and the candidate will need to have the depth and breadth of business process knowledge including the associated policies and tools for Capital's Business. This role needs hands on data analysis, process definition and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to learn about newer business process areas. This candidate must also be an effective communicator who will often need to document in detail findings, analysis, and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have high levels of ownership and energy, ability to deal with un-known situations, positive attitude, depth/breadth judgment, productivity and ability to multi task.

-Analyze contract issues (forensic accounting) to determine root cause of lease accounting and loan related issues

-Perform impact assessments with facts and data

-Determine workarounds of simple as well as complex issues

-Create write-ups to Document & Communicate issues, to be used for reference and audit

-Engage IT to address issues and solution approaches

-Engage proactively with the business regarding impacts and risks

-Act as a SME in key business areas in Lease Accounting, OLFM configuration and SLA setups

-Represent Capital in SOX reviews, compliance gates as well as other cross functional forums

-Provide consultation to future capabilities and transformation initiatives

qualifications:

Who You Are

You will have the ability to work multiple priorities in parallel; Be highly motivated with the ability to drive to a result; Have a global mindset that brings cross-cultural understanding; Have a good analytical head, with hands-on experience with Financial Modeling and have Capital experience.

  • CPA / Chartered Accountant

  • Experience in migration strategy planning and execution from various legacy systems to OLFM

  • Maintained sub-ledger accounting control documentation for lease servicing system to ensure consistency among various operating units

  • Designed & tested configuration solutions for new business models accounting & servicing requirements

  • Provided audit support on lease servicing system accounting and servicing functionality

  • Provided problem analysis and problem-solving support for lease servicing system production issues

skills: -Experienced in accounting review & servicing assistance in testing major system enhancements

  • Trained business users in the use and capability of enterprise lease accounting & servicing system

  • Strategic planning and execution of data migration for lease and loan contracts
