Commercial real estate investment company in the bay area is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in the Bay Area. Some of the responsibilities that the candidate will be doing on a daily basis is prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet and balance general ledgers, close and reconcile and close monthly books, and close the books for clients each month. Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in real estate or investment and have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. Experience in Yardi is a huge plus.

Reconciliation of monthly books consistently closed within the closing date
Perform precise reconciliation of closed books
Monthly bank account reconciliations
Prepare annual financial statements that are audited by external auditors
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
3+ years of real estate accounting experience or in private equity/investment firm
Experience in public accounting with real estate clients
Knowledge of US GAAP
Yardi Voyager system highly preferred, strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Must have great communication skills and be able to work independently
