Executive Assistant

Are you an expert in executive level support? Are you proficient in maintaining the highest level of professionalism and correspondence? Randstad is currently seeking temporary Executive Assistants with 5 or more years experience in a professional office setting for companies in Washington, D.C. Most of these opportunities offer a pay rate of $20-26 for temporary roles. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is detail oriented and a self-starter who maintains composure under pressure and a professional demeanor. Only candidates with prior experience supporting c level suite professionals (clearly shown on resume) will be contacted.


-Supporting c level executives, ensure daily schedule prepared and updated consistently and with fluid changes.

  • Answer phone, screen calls, direct inquiries, provide general information. Receive and greet guests, associates, interns, and staff members.

  • Coordinate all conference committee meeting arranges including room reservation, procedures, agendas, and regulation.

-Schedule management of executive including meetings, appointments, calls, time blocks, etc.

-Travel coordination, both domestic and international arrangements.

-Composition of memos, letters, and email.

-Basic understanding of finance and budget support and approval

-Researching and creating presentations

-Facilitate internal meetings and document minutes, and create and file reports.

-Project management, research assistance as needed.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


-- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically working with Excel and Outlook Calendar

-- Well versed in scheduling appointments and handling coordination of conferences and meetings

-- Skilled at travel coordination and arrangements

-- Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and multi-task

--Analytical and Problem solving skills, highly organized, creative, resourceful

--Ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.

-- Knowledge of and experience with Adobe, Quickstart, FileMaker Pro, Access, MS Live Meeting & WebEx, Visio, SharePoint, and expense management programs such as Concur highly desired.






-- Minimum 5 years experience

-- Bachelors Degree preferred, or Associates Degree

-- Administrative Certifications a plus (CAP, etc)

-- Project Management Certification (CPM) a bonus

-- Previous Capitol Hill experience a plus
