Java Developer

job summary:

Randstad technologies is looking for a senior Java developer for our media client in downtown Washington, DC! Our client is looking for a strong java engineer who will spend 90% of their day coding Java and is strong in springboot, RESTful webservices, and can manage concurrent and distributed systems.

salary: $60 - 72 per hour

work hours: 9am to 4pm

A day in the life: This Java developer will code a majority of their day to support NLP initiatives with our client. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.


Must have strong Java development expereince.
