Project Engineer

Contract position: Project Engineer needed near Windsor Locks, CT. You will be responsible for managing capital equipment installation projects. This is a contract position expected to last 6-12 months with the possibility for extension. No per diem is available at this time.

Responsibilities for the Project Engineer

  • Responsible for the design, development, verification and documentation of the mechanical infrastructure and equipment used in fabricating, assembling, testing and inspecting products.

  • Assist in the selection and contracting process of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project

  • Intimate knowledge of processes Manage capital projects on time and within budget.

  • Projects range from small single tasks to larger scale construction projects including facility upgrades, facility renovations, special projects, and managing equipment installation.

Requirements for the Project Engineer

  • Engineering degree. Mechanical degree preferred

  • Experience with mechanical infrastructure equipment

  • Experience managing capital projects
